Olympian Prints

Was very chuffed to be asked to do some more prints for the loverly Olympian boys - these limited edition and are available to buy from their shop with lots of other goodies. If you want to find out more about the band or listen to their music go here. I was inspired through various chats with the boys and some old holiday snaps that I have been meaning to do something with for a while - the hotel sign and the palm trees are from when I went to visit my brother in Jordan and the buildings are from Buenos Aires in South America.

Bit of logo printing for Your Future in Digital, a day for students to come and find out more about careers in the digital industry which is taking place at Epic Studios in Norwich on the 9th / 10th of November

The Window

Printed up these t-towels for The Window Coffee Shop recently, for those of you that don't know The Window is the world's smallest cafe and is on Wensum Street in Norwich (bottom of Tombland, start of Magdalen Street) it sells amazing coffee (so I am told - I don't actually drink coffee!) but I can tell you it does sell amazing cakes and pastries - and now you can also purchase a t-towel - available in three colours!! I would love to be able to take credit for the design but that is down to the very talented Sarah Hoyle - I just did the printing!!!!

Next Mesh Show.....

Thats right people its going to get meshy again - have got some great treats and extra frilly bits for you with the next Mesh Show. It opens on the 21st November, with a Mesh DJ set on the 1st December and Mesh Christmas shop and screen printing workshop on Thurs 15th and Sat 17th December with it all coming down on the 18th December. Its going to be Mesh - tastic!

Norwich Print Fair

Its that time of year again Print Fair time!
Running from Monday 5th September until Sunday 17th September get down to St Magaret's Church On St. Benedict's Street to see some top quality printmaking from myself and other local artists.
There is lots of things going on at the weekends such as demonstration and open portfolio days - check out the website for more details.

Recent Printing....

I haven't done much new work myself recently so thought I would let you have a peak at some work I have been doing for other people, namely Shed 22 an events and software design company and Gravy a local Norwich zine / record label / promoter - really enjoyed both these print jobs so hope they like the results!

Old Lemon / Ryan Watts

Ryan Watts, a local Norwich photographer has had a hand in setting up The Old Lemon, a new website that offers commentary and opinions on local, national and international current affairs and culture. He was kind enough to interview and photograph me for one of his posts which you can read here.

David Drake / Art in the Underbelly

Art in the Underbelly at the Rumsey Wells is celebrating its first birthday with an exhibition of photographs by David Drake who was specifically commissioned to take portraits of all the artists who have exhibited there over the past year - including me (see above)!!!! To check out the other photos - which I thoroughly recommend you do pop down the Underbelly (open Mon-Fri 12-3 and Sat 12-5) or check out David Drake's website or even better go down on the closing night - Friday 26thto see a site specific one off performance piece by OTHER/OTHER/OTHER 

Its been a while....!!!!

Sorry its been a while since my last post. I have been very busy organising our first open submission screen print show at Stew (see poster below and also our blog for more info)I have found time however to squeeze in the above submission for Frinton Press' wrapping paper competition (love what they do well worth checking out their blog)and also setting myself up a twitter account which I am just about getting the hang of!!!! Mesh Exhibition

Sorry I haven't put any work up here for a while - been really busy producing new work for this exhibition!!!! It is our first Mesh exhibition and it is on in the Underbelly of the Rumsey Wells Pub. The Private View is on Tuesday March 3rd from 8pm and features music from Olympians, Hello Bear and Free King DJs. Entry is free and the first 20 people through the door get a free limited edition Mesh goody bag!!!! For more info check out our Mesh Blog. 

Olympian Band Posters!

Have been working on some screen printed posters with a band called Olympians for their E.P launch - you can find out more about them here. They are a limited edition of 10 of each design and the band will be selling them at their shows and I will have them in our Mesh Collective Launch exhibition which will be at the Rumsey Wells in March....more details on that soon

Christmas Presents!

Was really stuck for what to get my brothers for Christmas so got inspired by the new neon inks we have got down at Stew and made these slightly crazy neon snowflake tees - will keep you posted on how they go down!
